We are specialists in representing parents, children and other relatives where a child has been or may be taken into Local Authority care. This also includes representation in relation to the Local Authority applying for the children to be placed on the ‘At Risk’ Register.
We are members of the Solicitors Regulation Authority Children Panel. We are also able to attend meetings with the Local Authority, and/or court proceedings up to and including a final hearing.

Adoption procedure has recently been altered as a result of the Adoption Act 2002. We provide advice as to the changes which have arisen as a result of the new legislation and advice with regard to the adoption procedure also.
